The Favourite Picture  - is voted for  by visitors to the Annual Exhibition Preview Evening


The winning artist has the opportunity of producing a  painting for the next exhibition, which is then raffled for a local charity of  their choice.

Other competitons include the "Favourite Card Competition" - and 'The Roy Johnson Trophy' the winners of both of these are  voted by members and guests at the Spring Party".

"The Roy Johnston Competition" - is a set subject each year.

In 2016 the subject was 'Spring Fling"

The winner was Liz Croy with her delightful watercolour

'Easter Bunny'


Roy Johnson was a member of the society from 1991 to 2006 during which time he was not only a talented and enthusiastic member but also held the offices of Treasurer, Chairman and President.
